Himalayan Mountains - Tour to Himalayan Mountains
Himalayan Mountains system formed off the coast of Central Asia. Himalaya range is the youngest and highest of all on this planet. Himalaya show a number of fascinating mountain scenery of the high Himalayan ranges to the foothills of the Great tops of mountains Shivalik. Himalayas offers its customers various snow-capped peaks, evergreen alpine meadows, a number of beautiful lakes, glaciers, some high and some of the sacred rivers fed snow.
Himalayan Mountains range has ten peaks in the world’s highest mountain, of which eight are located in Nepal, including Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Mount Everest, K2 (Austin Godwin) Kangchenjunga, Nanga Parbat and Annapurna are the five major mountains that form the Himalayas.
Most of the peaks still snow all year. They are also a source of origin of a series of snow-fed rivers like the Ganges, Yamuna, Indus, Brahmaputra, Sutlej and Beas, etc.
Himalayan Mountains
There are a number of majestic mountains, above 7300 meters. This includes the highest mountain Mount Everest (8864 m), Kanchenjunga (8598 m) and Nanda Devi (7817 m). Himalaya in India are divided into three main categories of the Himalayas which is great, with the highest peaks of the Himalayas, the Middle Himalaya and Pir Dhauladhar composed Panjal lower ranks and the Shivalik Himalayas or rank. Himalaya range extends 1.500 miles in length and width of 250 miles. Most of the ranges of the Himalayan Mountains still covered with snow all year.
Birth of the Himalayas
Himalayas is now in a position that was once under the sea called Tethys. Stones made up of Mount Everest were once deposited on the floor of the Tethys Sea. Himalayan Mountains were created because of the strong movements of millions of years ago. India tectonic plate against the Eurasian continental plates, and thus leads to an increase in deposits in the Tethys Sea. The increase is the Himalayas continue today.
